Test more then once a day with 3 days of high?

I just had a 28 day cycle. I am on day 15 now. I started testing at day 11, and by day 13 I had a high displayed. On day 14 and 16 the high was displayed again. I know some of the paperwork inside the test (it's the digital that gives high and peak days) says you can test more then once a day. Is that the best way to catch the peak if I am only getting highs? This is my first time using the digital ovulation test. I had assumed today would be a peak day, but it just keeps saying high. Should I test more then once a day to try and catch the peak or just keep testing only once a day? I'm confused.

Hi Rachel, I'd be happy to help.  When using Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests, it's important to start on the correct day of your cycle according to the chart in the instructions.  Since you have a 28 day cycle, you should begin on day 8.  Starting too late in your cycle can cause you to miss your peak.

You're correct that the number of high fertility days displayed each cycle is personal to you.  It reflects your unique hormone changes, and it's normal for some women to see more than 2 high fertility days each cycle.   If you believe you have a short LH surge, it's fine to test twice per day for the LH surge after you've seen high fertility.  Testing twice per day before seeing high fertility can cause high fertility to be displayed early in the cycle, thus causing more high fertility days.

I hope this is helpful.  If you'd like to talk through your questions, please call us at 1-800-321-3279 and mention reference #FB317. We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time and would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.  Thanks!
