Test strip looks wrong, test result right?

I got a blinking smiley face for 6 days. On the 7th day, I got a solid smiley face. I had been looking at the lines on the test strips to see if they were getting darker. They were. But the last day, the solid day, the lines looked wrong. The test line was missing altogether and there was a big blue smear across the test. Is it a real positive even if the strip looks like this?

Your results can only be read on the display and not from any lines you may see after you eject your test sticks.
