unusable tester :(

I guess more of an opinion than a question... First time using your adv.dig.ov.test or any for that matter, first 2 days were neg and 3rd day was peak, no high. I had read some people have experienced false readings so I wanted to test again to know if it was accurate or if I should continue testing for the month. I accept I made a mistake in not reading that the peak result remains on test for 2 days so the next day when I saw the smiley face still I assumed it was malfunctioning. I did scan through the error message info etc and saw how recycling the battery is recommended and pulled the battery in hopes to reset. As you know my tester now nolonger works and yes it was my fault for not reading the instructions well, that's fine. I guess I just don't understand the feature of leaving that peak result up for two days, I would assume most women would appreciate the opportunity to restest. I really think your company should consider changing this feature as I don't see any reason for the tester to be unusable for two days... thanks for your time and consideration

Hi Nicole, thanks for sharing your experience with Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests.  It's not uncommon for the digital holder to change from low fertility to peak fertility.  This opk tracks the changes in estrogen and LH throughout the menstrual cycle.  If the necessary changes in estrogen are detected, the digital holder will display high fertility, and if the necessary changes in LH are detected, the holder will display peak fertility.  If the hormone changes naturally occur close together, it's possible that the holder will change from low to peak without displaying high fertility.  We can reassure you that you have still detected your two most fertile days to try to conceive.

We're sorry to hear you didn't realize that peak fertility is designed to remain on the screen for 2 days.  It's not necessary to test again this cycle, and any remaining test sticks can be saved for a future cycle, if needed.  Unfortunately, attempting to test again while a result is still on the screen can result in an error message.  Still, we'd like to help you out.  Please give us a call at 1-800-321-3279 and quote reference #FB251.  We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time and would be happy to help.  Thanks and best of luck to you!
