Why First Morning Urine?

I started using your ovulation advanced digital kit. Why first morning urine? I thought with ovulation tests you were supposed to test from late morning to early afternoon.

Thanks for asking, Alicia.  Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests works differently than other ovulation tests because it tracks the changes in 2 hormones: estrogen and LH.  In order to accurately detect your estrogen level, it's important to test once per day with your first urine after your longest sleep.

I accidentally set my testing window to test in the evening. I am on day 4 of my cycle. Can I change the testing window?

Hi Lauren, you didn't specify which Clearblue product you're using, but we're guessing you're using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor.  It's important to use the first urine after sleeping, as this contains the highest concentration of hormones.  You can change your testing window as long as you're still before your chosen testing window on day 5 of your cycle.  Just press the 'm' button for 5 seconds until the 'm' symbol disappears.  The screen will return to it's original state (as if you hadn't yet set the 'm' button), and you can set a new testing window.  Remember, once you've set the 'm' button and you're past day 5, you cannot change your testing window.  Hope this helps!
