Will prenatal multivitamins affect Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation test results?

Can having prenatal multivitamins alter the my Clearblue Advance Digital ovulation test results? Instructions says to test after longest sleep, which means in the morning. But I have my prenatal pills after my dinner. I am not sure if that will effect the results.

I have started using clearblue ovulation test since 15th and started pregnacare vitamins same day. I had clear cirlce for a couple days and now it is just flashing smiley face every day. I popped a pregnancy test in and its a flashy smiley face also. Im not pregnant because i would be like 8weeks and i have had two periods. So i would say yes most definitely the pregnacare trying to concieve tablets do affect the results. It changes the colour of the urine. Also the antibiotic metronidazole caused a false positive last month for us because it made my urine darker. My urine stained the strips in all cases.

Hi Crystal.  Prenatal vitamins and antibiotics will not affect the results of our test but check with your Doctor if your antibiotics are safe to use when TTC.  We don't make a pregnancy test for the Advanced Ovulation test.  Are you using Fertility Monitor tests?  These are not the correct product for the ovulation test and could explain your results.   We know this is an important time in your life and would like to learn more so we can help.
