I ordered a 10 test ovulation kit and as soon as I opened my electronic tester there was a book error image. I can’t seem to use this test at all. Is there a way to reset it or do I need a new one?

Yesterday morning right away I got a smiley face. Then I tested again in the afternoon and it was a blank circle again… what does that mean?

This is the first ovulation kit I have purchased. The first time I did the test the result was peak straight away which then stayed on my test for 48 hours. Once I was able to test again after the 48 hour period it was still peak. Could you tell me why this would be?
